A 1969 remodeled North Hills Raleigh stunner. This home was taken down to the studs and re-imagined bringing in transitional modern elements to make this home timeless. This home was designed and decorated by my wife and is now enjoyed by a new homeowner.
This transformative remodel turned a dated primary bath into a serene, spa-like retreat that blends timeless materials with modern function.
At the heart of the space is a stunning Taj Mahal quartzite countertop, whose warm undertones and soft veining bring elegance and natural depth to the double vanity. Matte black cabinetry grounds the room with sophistication, while brushed gold fixtures offer just the right amount of contrast and warmth.
To create an open, airy feel, we installed a freestanding soaking tub framed by dual windows, positioned alongside a frameless glass shower wrapped in marble-look porcelain tile. Durable wood-look flooring brings warmth underfoot and a seamless connection to the rest of the home.

Despite its small size, this bungalow's whole house remodel in Franklinton had a huge impact. We are overjoyed with the final product and can't wait for the new homeowners to move in. To preserve its original charm, we kept the hardwood floors and rebuilt the rest from scratch, ensuring compliance with the latest code requirements. Additionally, we reconfigured the kitchen layout to provide more counter and cabinet space, and added high-end finishes to complete the remodel.
